David is a widely collected Plein Air painter who has been painting for 25 years. 

An honours graduate of the Alberta College of Art & Design he began as an 

illustrator out west before moving east for an award winning career in advertising. 

He is a founding member of the Ontario Plein Air Society and one of two Canadian 

members of the prestigious American Tonalist Society in New York. He teaches 

location workshops in Canada and the USA as well as Zoom workshops online. 

A recent resident of Stratford he now lives and paints in the Alberta foothills.
