Leslie Watts

Congratulations to Leslie Watts for being one of the thirty Kingston Prize finalists this year with her portrait, Stefan, 23. The Kingston Prize is a biennial Canada wide competition for contemporary  portraits. Village Studios artist Matthew Tarini also will have one of his portraits included in the exhibition. The show opens on October 9 at The Firehall Theatre in Gananoque and runs until October 25. It will then travel to New Brunswick and Quebec.  Tanya Zaryski is a glass artist and a painter, who creates wonderful pictures of her beloved Beaver Valley using acrylic paint on masonite board. We have carried Tanya's glass for a number of years and we are now thrilled to be exhibiting her paintings too.

Dingle Gardens completes the exhibit Pigs in Museums, new work by Leslie Watts. It is a 36" x 36" acrylic on muslin laid on birch panel. The exhibit opened last night and continues to June 12th.
