Bonnie Steinman Drawings

We are pleased to have a series of new drawings by Stratford artist, Bonnie Steinman. Working in pencil, Bonnie has meticulously rendered a number of beautiful drawings of walnut shells and a wilted hibiscus flower. Each picture captures the fine detail and texture of the subjects, reminding us how wonderful simple black and white pictures can be. To view Bonnie's website go to the artist links on the right.

David Sharpe

We are very excited to be showing the works of David Sharpe, a Stratford Plein Air artist who has been painting seriously for over ten years. David recently left an advertising career in Toronto to move to Stratford and pursue painting full time. The landscapes in and around Stratford and South Western Ontario provide him with a wealth of material for his oils on panel and canvas. Shown here are two works currently for sale in the store. Spring Willows On The Avon and Dawn-Long Point Marsh. To find out more about David's work you can link to his website on the right. For information on works at the store you can contact us by phone or email.

Gabrielle Kaufman

We have some beautiful new pottery by Gabrielle Kaufman, from Etobicoke, Ontario. Gabrielle works in dark greens and blacks and blues and reds with abstracted leaf and design patterns often inspired by the ravine landscape behind her house. She is also influenced by other artists and designers. The dark green bowl shown here was inspired by a William Morris wallpaper pattern. We are pleased to now have lots of mugs and bowls in a variety of sizes in stock. Fifty percent of all Gabrielle's pottery proceeds are donated to Canadian Food for Children. What a perfect Christmas gift for a pottery lover on your list.
