Leslie Watts Prints

Leslie Watts has just produced a number of small, limited edition drypoint prints. Without a proper printing press in her studio, but with an interest in trying printmaking, Leslie decided to try using a heavy plastic as her engraving surface (engravers traditionally use a metal plate - often copper) and a pasta machine as her press. The results are outstanding. Field Mouse, Duck, Pigeon and Path are all available in limited numbers from our gallery.

"Field Mouse", Drypoint on paper, 3 x 3" plate size

"Duck", Drypoint on paper, 5 1/2 x 4" plate size

"Pigeon", Drypoint on paper, 6 3/8 x 4 3/4" plate size

"Path", Drypoint on paper, 4 1/2 x 6" plate size
